What even is the difference? Isn’t all coffee all the same?

In first instance, instant coffee is extracted from coffee beans and has a shelf life of 2-20 years in the pantry, pending on packaging, lighting, moisture & heat. Most instant coffees are packaged in aluminium layers, so mould has little chance of getting in and helps prolong the shelf life.

Coffee Beans on the other hand, once roasted, have a shelf life of up to 5 weeks. As like instant coffee, how this is measured also depends on packaging, lighting, moisture & heat.

But why is that?

There are many different variables that come into play when talking about differences. 2 things that stand out would be Time and Quality.

Time
Making instant coffee is very simplistic and time effective. If you’re in a hurry to get to work grab a tea spoon, add some hot water and off you go. The whole process is streamlined, and you can quickly get the caffeine boost you’ve been desperately craving!

Quality

The flavour notes you can experience just from this alone would be able to assist you to sing harmonious hymns while enjoying you’re well balanced and all rounded brew.
